Management Structure
The figure below provides an overview of the project management structure.

These persons together with one management representative from each partner will constitute the Management Board (MB), chaired by the Project Coordinator (all partners will be responsible for the administration of their own project expenses and labour efforts).
Technical Manager
Alessandro Gelbi, IMAL engineer, shall be the Technical Manager. He will have the overall technical responsibility for the project and will provide support to the Project Coordinator as far as technical management is concerned. He will be responsible for the long-term strategy, the choice of techniques, the results and the quality of the LIFE+ GREENJOIST project.
Quality Manager
Pat Donohoe from EIR will be the Quality Manager (QM). He will hold the overall responsibility for quality in the project and shall provide support to the Project Coordinator regarding quality assessment and will also be responsible for the quality of the documents delivered, their structure and connection to the main aim of the different actions. The QM is entitled to request additional reports and remedial actions where appropriate.
Financial Manager
The Financial Manager (FM) will be Massimo Gagliani (IMAL) who will set up financial reports to the EC, assembling overall project financial statements and reports; management of upfront payments and end payments. The FM will coordinate this task, providing all the relative information and reporting to the Project Coordinator, who will then report to the EC.
This body will be in charge of monitoring and steering the project implementation, maintaining an efficient and effective workflow, formulating responsibilities and developing effective flows of communication. The MB will also identify the critical issues, make adjustments to project activities where required and implement the Contingency Plan if needed. Action Leaders will be responsible for the technical coordination of the single actions and all work conducted by the technical teams involved in this action. In particular they shall have the following tasks:
- To control the progress of the scheduled work within the action in terms of technical achievement, and expenses and to report to the MB.
- To apply decisions taken by the MB.
- To collect the information (technical, programmatic) needed to prepare the periodic progress reports and to transmit them to the MB in particular to the QM.
- To manage topic ground meetings, and to report to the MB on all matters related to the topic and action progress
- To comply with the planned deadlines (deliverables, reports)
